I speedrun H2, and have quite a few top 10 levels without the use of skulls. (Runs with skulls are disqualified by GDQ and HaloRuns.com)
Motion trackers are completely useless when speedrunning, because I already know what happens during my line.

Review embargo just lifted. The reviews for multiplayer (both Arena and Warzone) seem to all be super positive. Ryan McCaffrey, who is the main Xbox guy at IGN, said it is the best multiplayer since H2.
I haven't really seen anything negative about the gameplay. I've seen a couple reviews mention how they don't like how it occasionally dips from 1080 to maintain 60fps.
All the issues seem to be with campaign. I haven't really noticed a trend yet with it on the reviews I have read outside of there being too much Locke in it and he is just too bland to carry so much of the story. Giant Bomb said something like they just wanted to skip what Locke was doing to see what Chief was up to because his story was much more interesting.
I am a bit disappointed about the story stuff, but I am ecstatic to hear all of the positive things about multiplayer.
