Got the final Needle upgrade from the pale oil reward after clearing the circus events. Also picked up the Brightvein Mask Shard in Mount Fay.
Encountered my first Void Mass in the areas surrounding Hunter's March. Apparently the shortcut I'm used to using to get midway through has been blocked due to the calamity. Haven't cleared that void mass yet, but constantly spawning red ant warriors is a choice... and they made it.

Man... Trying to navigate Act 3 with pathways collapsed, never knowing when you're going to run into a void creature gauntlet room suuuuuuucks.

I'm playing on the Switch 2, so I hope it goes live soon. I'm just now getting into the main storyline for Act 3.
Currently, I'm banging my head against the wall with Seth, the Guardian before Nyleth.

For those of y'all who completed Act 3 - Where is the best place to farm rosaries/shards? I chewed through all of my reserves getting to Act 3, and the Reeds corridor across the top end of the Citadel isn't nearly as profitable as it was in Act 2 since half of them are now dead.

Picked up the controller after not playing since over the weekend and to my surprise, I took down Guardian Seth on my second try. On the first go, I got him well into his second phase and as I was running back, I thought to myself - "I bet I get this guy for good tonight." 5 mins later, I was proven correct.
Now to deal with Nyleth. I only got a couple of tries in on her before I needed to shut everything down for the evening, but like all boss fights appear in this game, it is likely more about doing the fights enough to learn the dance.

Got to the point where I could get to Phase 2 of Nyleth with no/minimal damage. Respawning at the beginning of the dream entry point without having lost any of your equipped tools is nice. I wish the game rewound to the boss start more often.
I did have to run back a bunch to restore my full silk bar after a while, though.
One video I'd seen was dependent on the Polip Pouch + Cogwork Wheel saw blade during Phase 1 & Conchcutter in Phase 2, but I was burning through the Conchcutter inventory before she was dead. With it being extremely difficult to generate silk having to pogo on her when she changes sides, I'd hit a bit of a wall, so when I went back to a bench to regen my silk bar fully, I switched to the Trifold Pin, as there are a ton of those in inventory and it would stretch across the screen while clinging to the wall.
That combo proved to be a winning one, and I took her down during that run.

Facetanked Gurr into submission with poison tools from across the room and defeated the Sprintmaster to complete the Fastest in Pharloom for my final mask shard.
Round 3 of the race against Swift only took me 2 tries, even though R2 took a dozen+.
