nope i am not lieing..it gave me the option to continue playing against the computer and I played a little and was up 10-7 and thought that it was better to just wait and see what happens and quit.
this nonsense of everything going down is ridiculous. this is my first time playing in a league like this and I never knew that I can't "play" how I want to play, whether it's the 4th quarter or the 1st. Someone go tell Pete Carroll when he was going for it on 4th and 2 from his 40sh yd line that he was "cheesing"..
If I take a loss week 1 I might as well leave the league. This is ridiculous, I have been waiting since Saturday to play this game and now this guy does this?...wtf?...be a man and play me.
The EA server probably gave us both the option to play against the CPU but I did the right thing by not.

i can play tuesday anytime from 9 am-1pm. wednesday i can't play until late because i am moving.

You really need to understand the rules of this league before you play another user game. This league requires you to mix up plays. Running the HB dive 3 times in a row out of no huddle is not acceptable. Punting is required when you don't make a first down after running 3 identical plays gaining you a total of 8 yards
Pete Carroll does punt.. right? Good luck versus your next opponent and hopefully you play within the rules with less "cheese".

Next time on any and all controversies such as playboi's and longhorn's I will just sim the game and let the AI decide the outcome if the two users can't come to an agreement about which direction to take within a reasonable time frame.
It's very hard for me to determine what happened and who did what and so forth.
I apologize to you longhorn if I unjustly judged you, but after thinking about what has transpired what I said above is the best coarse of action for the league in general.
FWIW....going for it on 4th down deep in your own territory and majically getting disconnected is a form of cheesing.
It could've been that both of you lost your connections to the EA server, but there's no way to prove that. Therefore, in the future I will just have to allow the AI to decide the outcome of user games when conflicts arises that can't be worked out amongst the two users.

Hammond there is no need to apologize to this guy. He pretty much admitted to cheesing. You should just explain to him what's considered cheese and what's not. You know me from other leagues and we've had some epic battles and I always played you str8 with no disconnects. I remember those OU vs. OSU battles.. lol

i had to do one also. the ea servers are down right now. i remember seeing something about that yesterday and it said they would start at 9am and would be working on it for about an hour. wanna try again at like 1030?

yeah that was a good game. i thought i had it for a second but then those guys came flying. that option was tough to stop even when i knew it was coming

Everyone should have 12 games. I didn't really pay attention to where the bye weeks fell. I looked at the number of home games, number of user games, number of top 25 games, and number of games overall when creating the schedules. I made sure everyone's schedule was balanced in strength with at least a grade of an 'A'.
It was hard getting everyone to meet all the parameters so there was some give and take with regards to some people schedules.
