MWR gameplay question

I have a question about mulitplayer on Xbox live. I've just started playing and I've been doing really shitty. I was at a 1.65 kd on blops 2 and now I'm at a .62 on MWR. I know part of it is I'm not used to the big maps and the domination of Assault Rifles compared to SMGs on BLOPs2. One thing I've notice is I've lost a ton of gun fights. I'll get like 2-3 bullets in before they even realize it and they still beat my arse. I've notice that when I watch the kill cam it doesn't even show me getting those shots in. Something isn't right. Could it be my internet connection?

That kind of shite used used to happen with bad internet with me. Hard wired it and I was instantly much much better. Get a hardwire connection and if it still is happening then you just suck lol

I mean I know I'm not great, I'm only good at close quarters combat. I should still have just over a 1.0 kd. I think I'm going to give that a try even though I have no idea how to do that.

All it takes is an Ethernet cable (consoles used to come with them). Plug one end into your internet modem and the other into your consol. No different than attaching an hdmi to the tv and consol. Only thing that sucks is sometimes your modem is not close in proximity to your consol. A hardwire for connection, at least to my understanding, will give you the absolute best speeds possible as far as Internet (capped at what speed you actually pay for).

Same thing happened to me since I started back. Annoying as all get out.
I really hope they release MW2 remastered with the next game, that was the best console shooter of their entire series. Just loads of fun.

I find that if I play during the day when less people are playing I do much better. At night the lag is very noticeable. I used to play MW2 on PS3 hardwired and had a 2.2 k/d but now I am playing MWR on PS4 and am at .85 with a wireless connection. Although I have been trying to get camos for certain guns so I would bet my actual k/d is more like 1 or so when actually trying. Still a big difference.

This gameplay is just so stagnet from what I'm used to. You've got so many people just sitting there with an m16 looking down the sites so when someone runs by they shoot. To me the multiplayer is overrated on this game. No ways it's the best COD.

I can't speak for the remastered but the original in its day was the goat multiplayer. Granted I quit playing online multiplayer shooters around BLOPS 2. They started to suck after that and I get bored after about 3 matches now. I'm much more into open world, single player RPGs now.
