I have a roster that's about 80 percent complete. You can get it from my Locker (desirestacademy) if you wanna get started today. The only Teams that aren't done are ones noone will even care about after the first year of the Dynasty. I kinda like the Draft generator idea also. Thanks! Looking forward to playing with U guys

Its telling me I cant download your roster because it may not be saved...

Hey guys, looks like 9 out of our 12 (bolded) have got the game and are ready to roll. Just waiting on confirmation from 3 others and we'll get this thing underway.
I'm gonna send those 3 messages again tonight and if there's no response by tomorrow, we'll get some replacements for them.
Supposedly the named rosters come out tonight/tomorrow, so we'll be in business soon!

How would you guys feel about limiting team selection to 3 or 4 star programs and bumping the difficulty down to All American?
Just spitballing here, but I think that it'll be more fun to work our ways up to the top rather than having 10 of the 12 teams already in the top 10.
If you guys reject and wanna choose from all teams and keep it at Heisman, I think I'm gonna play with the sliders to dull down the ridiculous pass rush. Not anything too drastic though....
Btw, will be posting official dynasty rules and regs probably tonight.

i would be fine with doing that ... it seems like the top tier programs are leaps and bounds above the mid-tier programs ... but ultimately i just want to play

3 or 4 Stars will work for me! I'm in another Dynasty and we're playing on All-American also so that's fine!

Some Rules and Regs for the Dynasty
Teams - The team selection will be limited to programs 4 stars and below.
Also, I would recommend no more than 2-3 teams in each conference. We'll do no more than 3 user vs user games per person per season, they tend to slow the OD down as people aren't always able to align schedules. Limiting the # of teams in a conference usually provides for at least 1 IN-Conference user game, and then we can schedule 1-2 OOC user game. This doesn't include CCG or Bowl Games.
Difficulty - We'll be playing on All-American, possibly with adjusted sliders. To me this makes for the most realistic gameplay as bumping it up to Heisman typically just results in more turnovers and dropped passes versus actually challenging game play.
Advancing - We'll be advancing the OD every 2 days.
Recruiting - Over a few seasons eventually we should turn all of our teams into powerhouses, no matter who you pick. In an effort to keep things balanced recruiting rules should be implemented. The easiest to follow that I've seen used is "Seniors + 4" so basically you can recruit the # of seniors that you have departing + 4. This DOES NOT change if you lose underclassmen after the season. So at the beginning of the season if you have 13 SRs on your team, you can sign no more than 17 players. This is your responsibility to keep track of (turn off the offer-assistance). If you sign more than 17 players you will face "recruiting violations" which usually involve having to cut one of your best players. Again, this isn't to be a dick, it's to prevent teams from recruiting 25 4-5* players every season and then cutting the upper classmen that aren't developing so well (like what I do when I play dynasties by myself.) In the long run it will keep things more competitive and the OD will continue to be fun for all involved. There are alternative recruiting rules too, like capping the # of 5* recruits if you want to discuss that.
Playing Games - (stolen from Hammond Tiger Fan's thread)
If you have a problem with getting your game in by the deadlines, let me know and I'll give you more time. If you fail to notify the commish, I will advance to the next week w/o you having played your game.
For user v user games, if I see that one user has been attempting to schedule a time to play their game against their user competitor for the week and there has been no response from said user competitor, I will place the said user competitor on auto pilot if the deadline is near to advance for the next week. The goal is to keep the conference moving and not be waiting constantly for someone to get their game in.
Again, if there is a problem with user vs user scheduling their games, post a note on here and I will allow more time for the games to be played.
This is about all that I can think of for the time being. Im thinkin we'll officially start on Monday, should be plenty of time for everyone to get used to the game and be ready...
