Well, I got raped by Rice 58-21.

Man I have no speed. At all. Wow. I can never fricking beat Rice in the first year of an SMU dynasty. Oh well, I'm usually money at home. This is going to be a looooong season.

Just smashed a FCS team 94-0.. broke 2 school records I also already have 3 1* commits .

Oh and so much for few user vs user games. Next week (or the week after a bye maybe) I have a user vs user game vs WKU

Which techincally would be their 1st season as a D1 team.

I looked at my schedule.. tough road for a 1-star program.. Texas A&M, AF, Navy, Rutgers.

I'll try to get my game in at lunch. I won't be back on until Sunday. Coming to BR for the game!

Probably won't advance until Sunday unless everyone plays before tonight around 9-10.

For some reason we are in 6 min quarters. Don't know if that is good or bad. If you want it changed let me know.

Schedules do suck for a lot of the teams. That's life as a bottom feeder. Just wait for that one moment when you can pluck of a top 25 team. That's your goal in life right now. I hope you didn't join thinking your were going to turn a program around in your first year.

I thought I would lose that game to Rice (b/c the AI always makes Rice with that game ), and probably will lose to Texas Tech, but other than that, I'm feeling 10-2 and a CUSA Champ game birth!

On another note, I prefer 5 minute quarters. 6 minute games just last to long. Being in a few different dynasties, it really helps to keep the average game length down to about 1 hour, which is accomplished with 5 minute quarters. I usually average about 1:10-1:20 with 6 minute quarters.

I'm also in favor for 5 minute quarters.

i don't mind the six minutes, but i'm used to 5 minutes so whatever we agree on.

whats good about six is you have little more room for error. considering you get 4 extra minutes.

Whats good about five is you don't have room for error so you have to make sure you play well.

I guess it depends on if you are a runner or thrower. 6 gives you a little more time to use your game plan if you like to run and set up the throw. In my game today I was a thrower and the game took forever.

Speaking of my game. Settings seem fine to me. 125 on the board. I had 11 different players with receptions.

I switched it already to 5 min, I forgot in my last post.

Cene, you just played a better team. Southern miss is a mid level school. You are a bottom feeder.

of the bottom feeders Art has the probably the best school. I wouldn't doubt he cracks the top 25

They are not bad. But there were a couple of teams that we rated a lot higher than me. Western Michigan is a 79 overall with 85 on D. That's pretty good for a 1* team. I was the only team with a winning record last year. I have pretty good QB and some good WR's. I need some help on D with some good coaching they should be OK.

I wonder how long before we even sniff some 4 and 5* recruits. I threw a few offers to some 3*'s this year. You never know.

have a good season and I'm sure you may sniff 1 or 2 four stars and by that I mean you are on their list.

I actually have a few 3 stars that I am their top 5 this year. If I can make a good run I may be able to land them.

There is a reason these teams suck. Look at the location of some of these schools. It's going to be hard to recruit a kid to play in front of 30,00 in Muncie, Indiana. I'm not even sure if I have lights on the field.

Damn I hope I can still get some early commits when I get home. I'm gonna have to play this afternoon since the boss took me out to lunch.
