tell me more about this directv dish at your camp...
Is it hooked up to an extra box on your home acct?
Do you get local channels?
Looking into it, it seems if you have an extra dish at another location, it violates your Directv TOS and they could start charging you double

i have an extra box on my account at home that i take with me
yes i get local channels.....the local channels are a spot beam pointed at Louisiana, so they wouldnt work in kansas or anything, but they should be good to go at your camp
it does violate the TOS, but there is really no way for them to know, just don't hook it up to any phone lines or internet at the camp
i've read that it only violated the TOS if you are watching programming at the camp and at home at the same time, but they can't prove that stuff either
eta: of all the people i've heard doing this, no one that i know of has ever gotten caught
i know someone with about 8 boxes total at 3 locations, for probably the past 5 years
