In the menu of the PS4, you start a party, invite everyone on and just talk to the outside of the game. However, part of the fun, is hearing Lewis go off on the other people in the lobby. So, party chat may not be the way to go everytime, but you can actually add people that are playing other stuff and talk to them while you play COD and they play NBA2K.

I still don't know if I'm getting something like Ghosts...but at the same time I don't feel like I'm getting what I want out of my PS4 quite yet and who knows when BF4 will be fixed.

i was playing some free arcade game the other day

I use the one that came with it. I saw someone say the iPhone buds work, but I haven't tried them. Think is, you can output the game sounds to the buds too, but I wouldn't do that until the Pulse start working for this.
