As far as “bot” detection. My best guess is if you’ve ordered items in the past that aren’t considered “hot” items or tried to get multiples, that would be a good place to start. Shopping history with Walmart.com. I honestly don’t know how they could deem something “bot-like”. It’s just silly at this point, but I guess I’d rather that then them do nothing.

My buddy that used the affiliate link thinks that's exactly why his was canceled. It's the only thing he did that was different than just a regular purchase. I don't know honestly, but Walmart thought it was suspicious.
He's not the type to do something stupid either so I believe him.

I wonder if I'm safe since I got mine off the app yesterday and not the web. I don't see how you could use bots on the app.

Yeah same. I was going to give up but then I just so happened to go back to the app and it let me add to cart. I was like holy shite lol.

I hope everyone gets one, but I think it’s a sad fricking state when there are so many willing to buy but can’t because of scalpers, COVID (which means shite when it comes to in person buying), and tech issues. This rollout was a disaster and the world knows it.

That’s funny. I was merely speculating on what I think a bot wouldn’t look like. It would be nice if we could all get some clarification, like a shipping notification. I just feel like I’m waiting on the shoe to drop (Florida pun intended). I told myself that I wouldn’t do this again after the first walmart drop fiasco, but here I am.

I tried on the app yesterday and got an OOS message a second after the drops. It was bullshite. I even did the repeatedly hit checkout/error message/checkout and no luck
