People this is not racist! It would only be racist if it was white. This game goes to show what i think about racist. Im not but if there was a White college football XP it would not make it past plannin cause all the blacks would complain it is racist cause they cant be in the game. Now that its the other way around its OK. Only in the USA

why is it that when it's white on black hate is called "racism" but when it's black on white hate it's called "reverse racism"? That doesnt make sense. Racism is racism.

the reason HBCUs weren't even started was because they couldn't go to the other colleges(because in the begining of the most of those schools they would only let whites attend) HBCU's would allow you to attend the schools if you'd like but most don't. quote:

Yeah, that's right. Southern's band blows compared to LSU. In terms of musicality, intonation, and arrangements LSU's band is greatly superior. That's why they won the Sudler Trophy and Southern is never even considered. Yeah, Southern's band may be more fun to watch, and they play more recent music but actually trying to listen to them makes me want to stab a pen in my ear.
I remember one year I watched the Bayou Classic and Southern's band came out and played "Laffy Taffy". All I heard was two notes the entire song and many of the sections were wildly sharp even on those two notes.

Judging by the replies in this thread I guess no one has accidently turned on BET during college football season. They broadcast the same school's games and overall, the game looks like what I remember seeing the view times I happened to catch it.

HBCU's are not included in ncaa 09. So this company goes out and fills in a void that is not represented in the video game market. THIS IS NOT RACIST IT IS SIMPLY CAPITALISM AT ITS BEST. Get over it.

Just because Southern plays recent music, or music that you'd hear on the radio doesn't make it a better band.
Southern's bandmembers may "get down" more on the field than LSU's, but LSU's band has much more complex marching routines.
Southern's band may play more "fun" music making it a "human jukebox", but LSU's band plays more complicated music, producing a better sound doing so.
The Southern band's members have issues with hitting their notes, embouchure problems, screeching, note length... I could go on and on. Having a music degree, I can hear these things.
You may have fun listening to Southern more, but LSU produces better music.

every band member from my high school even the director all agree that Southern has the best band in La. and I won't evem compare Jackson State to LSU not fair.

Three questions: where did you go to high school, did any of those band members attend All-District, or All-State honor band, and how many of those band members went on to major in music?
Besides, just because your class had a bias towards Southern doesn't mean that Southern's band is the best in LA. I mean, The John Phillips Sousa Foundation thought LSU's band was the best university band in the country in 2002 when it handed out it's Sudler Trophy to LSU.
