I beat Western Kentucky last night 52-10 but man it was probably the toughest game yet for me. I had a hard time running the ball, KW ended up with over 100yds but about 40 of that came on one play.
Lee did have a good game 13-14 270yds 3tds (going off memory)

score does nnnottt reflect my frustrations
pick 6 called back for roughing the passer
punt returned for TD called back for holding
drives continued to move for iowa because of stupid penalties
second half we came together and played well...my D is sick

Damn it Gugich, I'm still upset about that game. 
Not so much the fact that I lost, but just how ineffective my "O" was and how my "D" CAVED in the 4th.
The more I think about it, I realize that I was nervous about the game being a user matchup, and I got away from my gameplan. I tried to throw too early and too often, and failed to properly utilize Joe McKnight to his fullest. If I had lost 28-24 ot 28-21, I'd feel better, but to be held to a field goal...
My three turnovers to your none was what really put the nail in the coffin.

well UT you got something to look forward too.. if OSU and FSU win out it will more than likely be me and you in the Rose Bowl, of course I noticed Wisconsin in 2nd place in the Big 10 and I dont play them this year

Well, now I feel better. Smoked Oregon State 72-13. McKnight had over 200 yds. rushing, 1 KR TD, and 6 Rushing TD's. But it still sucks that that one game not only ruined my NC hopes, but my PAC 10 hopes too. Stupid arse conference with no champ game...This post was edited on 11/8/08 at 12:06 am
