okay so before i give the stats let me give the game details. At the start of the second quarter i was doing really well driving the ball, well i ended up throwing two straight picks with Adams one returned for a TD....so i benched him. i was down 20 - 7 when my back up came in and scored a quick td well with 15 seconds left georgia threw a pick 6
third quarter was a stalemate, fourth quarter it was brutal, i went up 28 - 20 and in two plays georgia scored and with a fb fake hb toss they tied it. so with less than two minutes i began driving the ball. i eventually got to about the 25 or so and burned the clock and then kicked the game winner while georgia iced my kicked from 41 yards out.
okay now for the stats

Georgia: 198
Vanderbilt: 328

Georgia: 16 - 101 - 1TD
Vanderbilt: 37 - 78 - 3TD i couldn't run for shite
Passing
Georgia: 9 - 13 - 97 - 1TD - 1 INT

Jared Funk: 17 - 18 - 192 - 1TD - 1 rushing TD

oh and my kicker
1 - 1 fg - 41 yard game winning kick..
i think it was a good overall showing for my recruits...i just hope i persuaded a cb that softly commited to USC to rethink his option and actually play where it counts.
i was hoping for a better run performance, but i still think my rb may of liked seeing me continue to try and run it even if it didn't gain a yard...the ending was nice...hopefully that helps. FWIW i hate icing the kicker kicks the ball barely passed over the crossbar.

One thing I learned is you can't play this game when you are super hung over. I woke up Saturday morning after a rought night Friday to go to the LSU game and decided to squeeze in my game while my wife was getting ready. Man I struggled with Tulane and was down 14 at one point. I think I may have even tried to play when I got home Friday. That would have been bad news.

USC 51 - Cal 13
Computer def ramped up the difficulty in this rivalry game. It was 7-0 Cal in the 1st and 21-13 USC at half. I ran away with it in the second half, but man was the computer playing stiff "D."
