well, my franchise player AP is out 4 weeks with a torn lambrum. Probably my fault for keeping him in the game when it was 35-0 in the first half.

Anyone want Shaun Alexander for a decent kicker(73-79 range)?
I'm forced to have to go for it on 4th downs when I'm inside opposing territory because fricking Martin Gramatica has the leg strength equivalent to that of a cripple. Seriously the dude was a good 4 yards short on a 38 yarder.

we using real draft class from NCAA 10 for the offseason?

We're in Week 3 now.
Regarding importing a class from NCAA, I've heard there are some problems with how the player ratings transfer to Madden. Also, I don't have NCAA yet so I'm not sure how we'd be able to do it. I'm open to suggestions.
I does bum me that there is no season long scouting of draft picks on the online franchise.

I know. It doesnt seem like there is any kind of a salary cap or free agency.

There is no salary cap in the online franchise. It sucks. Hopefully, EA will come out with an update to fix this but I am not holding my breath.
Regarding free agency, I am considering a waiver system where each user team will have to drop a given number of players at the end of the season in order to increase the free agent talent pool. For example, teams may have to give up 1 player rated 80-85, 1 player rated 75-80, 1 player rated 70-75, etc. Once you drop a player into the free agency pool then you cannot resign them for the next season. I'm also considering opening up trading with the CPU at the end of the season with each team allowed to make at least one trade (trade must be reasonably fair and must be approved by the commish since the computer on the online franchise lacks the AI to determine whether a non-user team should accept a trade). All of this is a work in progress right now. Hopefully, EA will make some updates to the server regarding these issues before we have to deal with it but I'm not giving my hopes up.
I open for suggestions of how we can make trading and free agency work in the offseason.
