Trading will now be open until the end of Week 7. After that, all trading, even between user teams, will be closed.
I've decided to let everyone make their own trades without prior approval as long as everyone plays by the rules: The player traded for cannot have a higher rating than the player you trade. Also, the trade must not severely prejudice the team that you trade with. For example, the other team cannot be left with a 59 rated QB as their starter. In that case you would have to trade another quarterback to that team so that they would have a decent starter.

You can trade 1 for 1 if the if the computer team you trade with is left with a decent starter for the position they traded away. For example, if you swap a LB for a RB and the other team still has a good backup (70 or above), then you don't have to also trade a RB to them. If their backup RB sucks though (below 70), then you have to also give up one of your RBs (above 70).
The only time you have to give up 2 for 1 is when the computer team is not left with a decent starter (in other words, this team would not make the 1 for 1 swap had they any trade logic).
Does this make sense? Do you have any suggestions?

I guess that I should also set some rules if anyone wants to trade a player for draft picks.
To get a 1st round pick, the player that you trade to the other team must be rated at least 90.
2nd round pick - player must be rated at least 85
3rd round pick - player must be rated at least 80
4th round pick - player must be rated at least 75
etc., etc.
How does this sound?

I've set it to where everyone can trade with the computer now...I just ask that everyone follow the guidelines since the computer does not have trade logic. No need for prior approval anymore.
