Seriously, frick the course on that tournament. It wasnt even the greens for me, it was the few times i was a little long of the green of a little short and my chip or pitch or whatever fricking shot would go 6 inches.

That's every course, it's just the game. If there's ever a chance of this happening I pitch it and not chip it

it's just the game.
It just irritates me because the game is giving you a distance of 15 yards but its 10 to the pin, so youre not going to hit it full strength and it goes a foot.

For the beginners quick couple of points
Wind is usually 1 yard per mph.
Spin is your friend on drives.
If you are hitting into the wind place the dot 3/4 to the top and get a lot of roll.
If you are hitting with the wind do the opposite.
For every foot of elevation play it like this.
Wedges adjust it .5 yards
Pw-7 adjust it .7 yards
6-4 adjust it 1 yard of distance
3i-woods 1.25-1.5 yards
these adjustments are in addition to the wind.
Always try to hit into a green with full back spin. If possible leads to lower scores and I always chip, pitch, and flop with full backspin.
Also remember flops come off at an angle.
On rough, the amount it affects you is greatly dependent on what club you are hitting. If you are over a 6 iron out and over 30% of rough use a punch shot. Rely on roll for these punch shots. If you are in over 50% use a wedge to get out of the rough. Anything else and your ball will go three feet.
On putting. Just because it says it is down 1 inch or up one inch doesn't mean the same thing you have to look at the peaks and valleys in the Putt and adjust to them.
If you can avoid using a longer distance putter meter do it even if it means you may end up 3 feet short. Trust me this is better than the alternative.
On break uphill will have about 1/2 the break of downhill
Fast greens -will play slower than your meter indicates I usually add 2 feet to my normal shot. Each inch up is 2 additional feet each inch down is -.75 feet
Very fast - putts are going to roll for the mostly true to what you select. Depending on drop or rise. Inch up or down is about 1 foot.
Tourney - you just have to get the feel for them.

The sand is diffcult it negates almost all spin on the ball. With a 40 percent lie I usually figure that 40 percent of a sand wedge will fly about 15 yards.

This is a key, I almost always hit my shots into greens with full backswing

I missed a 6 footer and had to settle for par on #9. To shoot a 30.

I'm really close to a 29, I'm going to keep going for it, then I'll focus on shooting anywhere near a 60 on Kiawah since we have like 6 more days to play it
