yes, on the game interface, theres a green dot on the golf ball. Pulling that dot down will create spin on the ball

Does it take away from your distance any? And is there any way to shoot a draw/fade?

It will take away from your distance slightly, but only if playing into the wind. And no not really, only if there is a cross wind. My big suggestion is to always hit a full shot when possible. example: 150 out from the pin but your club only hits 145. Instead of clubbing up, use your 145 club with no backspin and let it roll up to the hole

Yeah I began to figure that out a few days ago

Although, I still have trouble knowing how hard exactly to hit out of the rough and bunkers. I'm guessing that just comes with experience?

Puttings a bitch too, I 3 or 4 putt every hole

bunker play is all feel. as for rough, generally wedges cut through it like its not there, but for mid to long irons always club up. and once you can 2 putt every hole, your score will drop dramatically

Putting is tough but you get used to it. As for bunkers I usually hit flop shots, they are difficult to get out of though. Once you get better equipment and a better ball you will be able to stop the ball a little better. My advice is hit every approach, chip, pitch with full back spin and just try and judge the roll for now. Down hill approach shots will roll less and uphill approach shots will roll more typically

Alright thanks for the tips guys. I'm a member of the club but I don't plan on playing for money/credits until I get a little more on top of my game. Are there ever any free tourneys just for fun?

y'all should go make a bunch of tourneys and steal all my credits. I just shot +1 on Kiawah and I shite you not I missed at least 7 putts inside 8 feet, including a 3 footer and a 1 footer
I legitimately could have been -6. I should have been -4 at least, oh well. +1 on Olympic will probably blow the field away

Why not?
Btw on st. Andrews today i was only 2 under through 11 and then had 7 birdies in a row to shoot a 63. I think it knows I am out in front because it gave me the worst winds ever. On every hole. I am sorry but I think I put it out of reach.

FWIW...5 things you can do if your experiencing a jumpy meter...

1...Clear Browser cache: instructions...
2... Clear Adobe Flash cache: instructions
3...Download gamebooster...just google for free version...
4... when you open up the game window, close down the main window....
5...keep your friends list less to than 25 if possible, peeps logging on & off can cause your meter to bobble IMO...

I've been a WGT addict for over 3 years, my name there is same as here, hit me up for a game if you see me available...
