I find it so hard to change equipment because I'm used to the roll and distance of my starter balls, clubs etc. I did get a new driver and fairway wood though and that helped me lower my score (68-69ish right now) and those are the only two upgrades I have in my bag. Every time I rent something to try it out I make a mess of it so I decided to just stick with what I have. And all those freaking balls are just a ripoff IMO.

MY putting has gotten worse. This is like 3 rounds in a row I should have been at -4 or -5 and I'm going to end up even par or over because I can't make a putt, it's really frustrating

Eta: yep +2 with 32 putts

Are you using putter pal?

The "problem" with is is that once you start using it it's hard to go back , so better not run out of credits once u start using it.

I've never used putter pal, I dont really need help judging distances generally, I just can't read break recently and have been off on my clicking accuracy

worth every credit. But like I said earlier if you get used to it, it's hard to do without it.

how do you putt?

a) move the trajectory ball up or down depending on the break then try to get the "perfect" click on the meter?

b) keep the trajectory straight and stop the meter before or after the "perfect" click depending on the break? Also how far from the perfect stop depends on how big of a break?

I use option b and here is an LINK. It breaks to the left, but it's not too fast so I stop the meter a little bit after the "perfect" stop.I missed that putt a bit to the right which means I went a tad too far but you get the gist. how far I stop before/after that perfect click depends on the break and just got a get a feel for it.

(also ignore the distance on that putt, was treating it as a VERY FAST instead of TOURNAMENT). Hope this helps someone

I've done both. On putts that are within 5 feet i'll usually use B, and anything farther use A. B actually makes alot more sense though. There is a tad bit less room for error in my opinion.

Balls are the most important upgrade, as far as putting just get the feel, by doing it alot. Once you are no longer afraid of 4 footers your putting average will impro s immediately

I tried putter pal once. It messed me up more than helped me. I'd rather use the traditional meter.

I just got invited to WGT Nation! I wonder what that means? You are not supposed to be invited until you are a level 90. So I must be special.
