Quick initial scan for Riv week. My first click tomorrow might be Deki.

The last ten winners have played in either Pebble or Waste Management

Only two golfers missed the cut in his final start before Riveria. (Watson 2016 and Holmes 2019)

Deki is basically all or nothing when it comes to this course. Cut last year, but a 5th and 9th before that. Also another 4th and 11th in 2016 and 2015.

At 18/1 I'm not in love with Deki. I'd rather go Rory at 22/1.

90-1 Reed if you have any free bets.

Reed love two things, Poa and hard course particularly long ones.

There is a Augusta & Quail Hollow correlation.

Reed at 90 is so bad that it feels like a trap. He's near the bottom of my rankings. I'd rather go out of form Finau at 60 over Reed at 90.

The last 3 winners at Riv had a previous year T10 at the event. 5 of the last 6 winners had a T14 or better here the year before.

Got my list narrowed to this group:

If you include Zalatoris, Why rule out Xander? He has finishes of 15-23-15-9 the last 4 years?

My trend stat wasn't correct. It's actually the last 2 of 3 winners at Riv had a previous year T10 at the event. And 4 of the last 6 winners had a T14 or better here the year before. JB Holmes...

When it comes down to it, I'm just not a fan of Xander on Sundays at this point. Plus, Willy offered a much better price.

Zalatoris' caddie was on the bag when John Merrick won in 2013.

I already bet Fitzpatrick at 44-1 on FD. If the course plays hard like last year he'll play well. Plus, we have to keep the 1st time winner trend going.

Lefties also eat this course up, so McNeese State's Bobby Mac will be a popular bomb

That tournament was awesome

Long time coming for Scottie. I love these tournaments with 1st time winners. Xander better get that W stat. How long can he play this elite level golf without winning? I'd imagine if his Sunday struggles continue you could have a Rickie Fowler situation where he just loses it.

Hope Riviera plays like a major course this week. The field is packed again

He just won a gold medal less than a year ago, so it's just a PGA drought

HA! His last win on Tour was 3 years ago. Since then, 12, count'em TWELVE Top 3 finishes.

I won't get to follow the in-play action as closely this week so I'm going heavy and betting 9% of this smaller field pre-flop. What's the o/u on missed cuts from this group?

Genesis
Rory 20
Deki 25
Cam 25
Vik 25
Willy 33
Burns 40
Fitz 40
Finau 60
List 80
Noren 80
Clark 200

375 coins invested this week. 4060 coins left in the bank.

2022 Outright Winners
Hideki Matsuyama 18/1 @ Sony
Luke List 80/1 @ Farmers
Scottie Scheffler 25/1 @ WM

The last 7 winners have finished the season Top-60 in driving distance. 5 of the last 7 were inside the Top-20
