Drove the 289yd Par 4 8th hole at Bluejack. Carried it all the way to the green, and it stuck within 6 feet. Knocked it in for the eagle. That won’t happen again for another few years.

That’s a good poke considering anything right is dead.
But how did you do on 9? Hole is a bear and is always into the wind.

Wind was definitely in our face. It turned my fade into a major slice left into the trees (play left handed). Got lucky and still had an open shot at the green from the trees. Put it on and 2-putted for my par. I was ecstatic to get out of there with pars on both 9 and 18.
Luckily they had the tees adjusted for the particular wind that day. The course was probably playing a little shorter than usual.

It was outstanding. I believe the best part about the course is just how playable it is for everyone. Pace of play is great, and it's nice to have a couple of nice pit stops throughout the round. We spent the weekend out there, and it's extremely relaxed in the afternoons. Got the girls out there and let them play a little bit while we caddied and drank.

Stuck a 60 yard wedge shot to 2 feet with some check.

I suck out of fairway bunkers and hit a solid iron out of one to get myself back into a par 5.
I probably hit a few better shots, but that one was the one I am happiest with from yesterday.
