My game is so different. When I shoot in the 70s, i'll have at most 1 birdie. I think I have only had multiple birdies in a round 1 or 2 times in my life (30 years of playing). My game just isn't capable of that.

My best rounds usually dont have many GIR. I usually hit near the green, chip it close and make a short putt for par. I so envy all those players who get multiple birdies per round.

You can make birdies don’t let yourself think you aren’t capable of it. If you’re not long off the tee that’s ok. Just work like a son of a bitch on your 100 yard and in game, that’s where the birdies come from. If you’re a solid putter and can be confident around the greens the birdies will come. I can’t stand when I see people at the range and the first club they pull out of the bag is the driver.

I just bought the 0211 to try out. All the PXGs are on sale right now and it was the highest ranked on Golf Digest so I figured Id give it a shot. For 270 after taxes and shipping Ill try about anything

I'm solid from 100 yards in with wedges. The problem is I can't read a putt to save my life. My birdie putts made are 95% <5'. I'll get 4-5 looks from <15' during a round.

I do have some severe visual issues as I'm legally blind and have some strong stigmatisms. I would guess those contribute to my inability to ready mild breaks.

What if that’s what they’re working on that day? I had some extra time today and went and chipped/putted for an hour then hit a small bucket with my driver because I’m working on something specific with it. I guess you wouldn’t have stranded to see me do that!

Meh. My guess is a good driving game is vastly more important for amateurs scoring low than non-putting short game.
