Sounds like this place had a fall from glory.

There was a stretch from about 2007-2015 where this was arguably a top 10 course in the entire region.

Every time I’ve ever played it, it’s always been in good shape relative to most other public courses in the central part state, and I don’t feel overcharged.

That said, the Indians are ignorant in regard to course etiquette. They’ll barrel through there on the service carts, fire a leaf blower up in the middle of your back swing and not think twice about it, etc. then look at you like you’re in their way.

The place could be elite with a competent staff.

It sounds crazy, but I kind of like that.

We played both couses this past weekend and they were both in really good shape and condition. There were a number of fairways between the two that had some new turf/gound under repair. A few greens also had some repairs happening. Cousewise I would play again.

The natives that run the course are some of the most clueless and appathetic buch I have ever met. When asking for a "Closes to the hole" marker, they had no idea what I was asking for until I said the thing with the tape measure on it. And the woman at the snack shack between 9 and 10 could make change and was completely confussed by the computer.
