For everyone in the Acadiana area, I went to Dick's Monday to see what's happening with the renovation. They closed Field and Stream, and are expanding into that space under the Dick's brand only.
The golf section is doubling in size. It will be a Golf Galaxy lite. At current, there will still be only 1 hitting bay, but there will be a qualified club fitter. The selection on clubs is going to be much greater including more options for ladies and juniors.
This was all according to a manager in the store. My guess is they are trying to capitalize on the new Top Golf which looks like it is almost finished.
