What helps me is to find a divot or something a few feet in front of me on my preferred finishing line, then another divot or target object left of that for my feet/body aim, then aim my club face right between them.
It's a hard shot if it's not somewhat natural for you. Like Mingo said, the miss tendency is to come over the top too much and swipe at it to "help" it turn right, which often leads to a baloony slice. The other miss being overcompensating for the open face leading to that awesome double cross/pull hook.
