Went down a rabbit hole after seeing a set of member irons on GolfWRX WITB forum. I would seriously consider Sub 70...an upstart club maker that eliminates the middle man for price markups. I think they have the right concept and will be successful.

If I didn’t just get my Callaway Apex’s, I would pull the trigger on their 699s...and their raw wedges look incredible (I getting the 50 degree raw wedge).

Research them, they are getting great/awesome reviews. Wanted to spread the word.

Be interested to know what their iron models are comparable too. Not necessarily a specific iron, but category. Like X model is similar to Callaway Apex, Titleist T200, etc and Model Y is equal to Apex Pro, T100 etc.

A discussion thread on this brand on WRX, someone who got a set said it was more like Taylor Made 790 irons.

A set of 699 5-PW for $460...plus, they have a demo and you can contact the owner to get the specs to your needs. They are basically custom fitted/built clubs. Hell of a deal.

Cool. I frequent Golfwrx as well so I will try to find that thread later today. Had 1st Gen P790s and I enjoyed them I did get some flyers but I attributed that more to my swing issues and flushing them. Still have them just probably would put a different shaft in them as I ultimately felt I wanted a stiffer shaft. Now playing Srixon z745s with X7s.
