I think West Fel would be better off in just building a brand new golf course instead of throwing money into the bottomless pit of money, that is the bluffs.

When you factor in Real Estate prices and construction costs it would be impossible for West Fel to build a new course for what they could remodel The Bluffs for. Investing in The Bluffs is the most straightforward and cost effective answer. Being the only course in the Parish...they should do something.

I agree with the rest of your post though.

But there’s 3 nice courses 20 minutes to the South. One in False River 20 minutes away and two decent tracks in Natchez 45 minutes away. I don’t think W Fel has the local golfing population to support the amount of money it would take to refurbish and upkeep the course, especially seeing it would benefit the existing homeowners more than the parish itself.

I think that's where a lot of people get mad about the real estate development golf courses that went south. They hate to think that it could benefit everyone in a municipality because they worry it'll benefit the homeowners more.

One of the things overlooked about the Bluffs is the Clubhouse. It is waaaay overkill for what they need. It isn't the course.

Squire Creek is adding 9 holes north of the 18 hole coures.

Not sure who the designer is.
