Thanks for the help. I live in the heights area and will keep the clubcorp membership so I don't really want to pay the extra for Kingwood. I have played Bluejack a couple times but I think I would rather be a guest than a member there because of the drive. And yes, I agree, it is amazing.
I play Pine Forest, GCOH, and Royal Oaks each at least once a month. I would like to see about Lakeside but the membership process is painstaking. I really would like to join somewhere I already have friends at. I really like GCOH because of the access to 3 different clubs. Royal Oaks is great, but the price is hard to justify. Pine Forest is great also, but it is the furthest drive. Living in the Heights and working downtown, it is not like you can stop by the club on the way home and get 9 in. I am trying to justify joining a club as a young professional versus just paying guest fees. What was the reason you pulled the trigger?

Parents of a friend of mine were members at Lakeside - I'd play that course a few times before deciding if you want to join. I thought it was rather bland for the price
I also have a friend that is a member of GCOH and he lives behind Cottonwood. He works dtown and will swing by the club to catch a few holes few times a month.
Thought about joining GCOH or Champions but ended up moving back to Nola. My boss is a member of my current club and upon hiring said I need to become a member. Driving range is <1.5 miles from my office. Also joined as a junior member, cost 1/10th a full membership.
