What’s really badass is you can pay someone to build your home course for you. Unfortunately, Louisiana doesn’t have public LIDAR data, but I believe VA does.

I see a metaverse opp here somewhere

Trackman has a pretty good portfolio, but it kind of sucks we can't access some of the elite courses in the world. I'm assuming it's a licensing issue. That's awesome you have Augusta National.

Trackman is an extremely hard headed company. They’re the best and they’re the biggest and they know it. They very rarely go out of their way to make deals with a customer. You’d be surprised at some of the courses that say hey you can have our course for free, just make it for us. Their comeback was usually “no, pay us to do it or we won’t”

The portfolio is going to be huge in the next few years though, especially with them getting the PGA Tour broadcast deal.

Nice room Nugget. How is your game these days ?

Indoors it’s pretty good. I haven’t played outside hardly at all since I built this house/room in 2020.

PGA Tour Superstore in Houston/Katy sells the whole setup. Different packages. Easily 5 figures so I assume they would install.

I'm about to start playing an indoor golf league at The Tee Box in League City, TX. I'm pretty bad about only playing certain times of the year. Used to start after The Masters and stop playing when football season started. Looking forward to being able to play year round.

How do y'all like these simulators?

Not sure how the short game is supposed to work.

Finally played my first round on one of the simulators at The Tee Box. Enjoyed it way more than I expected. Definitely some getting used to and it took me a number of holes to get comfortable with the fact that I could take a full swing with my driver and not hit anything in the room. This is going to do wonders to my game.

Short game stuff was a little weird but I'll get used to it. Just trying to hit a 30 yard chip shot without being able to just look at it and judge how hard to hit it was different, but being able to put a number with how hard I hit a ball will probably help on the course. And putting a 60 foot put with only 12 feet in front of you was tough.

I started to get the hang of it with about 6 holes to go. Can't wait to go back this Thursday.
