I'm 6'3", around 215 and in pretty good shape overall. Driver Swing Speed is around 109/110 playing it off the inside of my front foot. Would prefer to hit a cut. Some great answers so far to this that I'd like to try and I definitely have a tendency to be a bit of a head case out there haha. Used to be an 8 handicap but it has gotten up to a 16. Just too many chunked irons shots and skied drivers causing me to get some big numbers on a couple holes per round. I guess if I had a directional miss it would be a low pull hook.

Listen to BeaverPro...he can help you. You and I built slightly different but I start my downswing with hip rotation and letting everything uncoil from there. I'm an 8.2. Good luck fixing it baw.

If I sky a driver then it’s almost always because I’m swinging with my arms.

I've never even thought of this.

I start with a quick jerky over the top move and then swing my arms as fast as I can to the ball

OK...
If you are trying to hit a cut and I cannot physically put you into positions on the range, you are going to have to work off of feelings in your swing.
I would try and start by trying to squish a bug with your left heel and pivot around that spot. you are not going to actually move your heel off the ground but put a little more pressure on it when the club reaches the top of your backswing...We'll call that your trigger (which also creates a firm base to pivot around)
Once you hit the trigger, the next move is crucial...Bump and Pivot...Slightly bump your lead hip toward the target...SLIGHTLY, not a foot toward the target, not exaggerated, but a 1/4" bump toward the target; then you will try to place your right back pocket where you front left pocket was. The only way to do that is rotate and get that left butt cheek out the way.
If you want to hit a draw, just take out the bump and just pivot. if you have any kind of speed in your rotation, the bump is going to create a more verticle path to the ball and get you a fade/cut
other than that, i have no idea about your swing path/plane/tempo so you could actually need something different if any of these are an issue.
Good luck.
