The whole a scratch golfer wouldn’t break 100 is considering the championship Tees which play absurdly longer than the member tees. Also, all I heard was a 15 cap wouldn’t break 100, not a scratch golfer. With that said a good example of the difference is number 11. Pros were playing 200+ yard approach shots to that, whereas the member tees plays driver flip wedge assuming a decent drive according to one of the guys that got to play it last year. Thats a huge difference. Not many players are playing a 7500 yard course remotely well.

Actually a relative non-factor. He’s got a caddie who isn’t baffled and generally knows what to do.
