I have the TSi2 with a Ventus blue and absolutely love it and yes, it was a bit of a commitment but would do it again. The price the guy gave you is totally realistic. Titleist gives very little value to their stock shafts - maybe $75 so when you go to a custom shaft, the price can get up there. Question is, can you find a comparable shaft that cost less and my guess would be possibly but not one for $100 or $200 brand new. In other words, good shafts can be expensive.

Seems high to me but I got a mizuno STZ and an accra shaft for $500 at my fitting. These are not in the super high price range, I'd guess but another $400, wow.
