Just played Payne's Valley after playing Ozark National last year

My group liked Ozark National better than Payne's Valley but the experience of Payne's was still spectacular. It is nice to pay that much for a round of golf and everything is immaculate and convenient like it should be for the price.
Maybe someday I'll have enough money to stay on property and play PV, ON and then Buffalo Ridge 3 days in a row.
Next year my group will be playing Buffalo Ridge. Can't wait. Many folks we talked to said BR is their favorite.

They were still buildig PV when I was up there, but BR was my favorite.
It's a great golf trip and a fun family trip if you rent a cabin on property. BUT, bring money.

would you say that the resort as a whole is worth the money for a golf trip?

I cant say. I haven't really stayed on the golf property anywhere.
I have stayed at Big Cedar Lodge but that is a few miles away and has all the amenities for kids/families. I'd assume golfers would want to stay at the houses or cottages on the courses. I have only seen those from a distance.

I've not played PV yet but have played Ozark Nat., Buffalo Ridge, and Mountain Top numerous times. I hear that PV is the easiest course but again, I've not played it myself. Ozark Nat. is my favorite course. Buffalo Ridge has changed quite a bit from when it was Branson Creek years ago.
Saw someone asking about staying and golfing. I was pricing some on-property stays for a group of customers coming up at the end of Oct. Staying either at Big Cedar, Angler's Inn, or the golf cabins down from PV provides a discount on the round and provides your best chance to get preferred tee times at PV.
The golf cabins run about $1,000/night and have 2 bedrooms that sleep 4. Angler's Inn is between $220 (double queen) to $260/night (single king). Didn't price the cabins at Big Cedar because these didn't offer the right sleeping accommodations that I need for my 5 customers.
Weather has been pretty good over the last couple weeks. All the courses out there get better looking as the leaves begin to change.
