This is all over social media, but I haven’t seen it discussed here.
If I had my druthers, I’d be fine taking the top 48 in the world and forming a tour above the PGA Tour and the European Tour. But I’d like there to be full on relegation done as the season goes on. You can use the OWGR, or some other statistic to determine who goes where. My concern is that they would take the 48 biggest names and not the 48 best golfers. That would cheapen the new world tour. If a guy starts January on the KF Tour, but plays lights out for 7 months, he should move up to the PGA, and possibly move onto the World Tour.
I’d also like them to go around the world and play a bunch of cool golf courses.

I have always thought a team professional golf league would be entertaining. Format similar to the Ryder Cup where teams match up head to head.

Golf isn’t a team sport. Making it one for an entire league season would not be very entertaining.

Sources say defectors would face complications related to the releases necessary to play in non-PGA Tour events and loss of eligibility in the Tour's lucrative pension programme, among other matters," he wrote.
Well, that's the end of that. The PGA and USGA will limit access to majors. The top players in the world will not jeopardize their chance at a major.
