The Patriot - Ninety Six, SC

My second favorite golf course in the state. Not a single bad hole on the course. DLIII did a great job with the design.

Is the patriot fully private? I live outside of Augusta wouldn’t mind driving up there with a group for a round. I didn’t see any way to get a tee time on the website more just trying to get you to buy real estate

Honestly don't know, not been here a year yet, feel like you have to know somebody here. They are letting some folks from my work play here as long as it's after 2pm. If you are comfortable posting your email, I will just say you are from our ATL sales office.

You could try the real estate angle too. Be careful though, there is also a pool bar, and the wait staff never lets your glass get empty. Saw some baw said it was his 2nd favorite course in SC.

Also been warned of an untucked shirt on my son (10). They drive someone out to tell us there was a complaint from a member, but hell, I'm a member.

Iirc, Hootie Johnson was a member up there. I haven’t played there since 2008 or 2009. Back then it was fully private. I went with a Class A Pro from the area who is also a good player.

Here are pictures from today at my local state-run course. The rough is a little long because the mower had been down for a couple of days.

$20 gets you on, +$16 more for a cart. It's also the approximate site of a French and Indian War battle.
