I never play Saturday or Sunday mornings so I can’t recall ever waiting long there. Played 36 on multiple occasions. Earlier poster was right about Oak Knoll. Not great. Was Oak Harbor mentioned? I’ve enjoyed playing out there although it always seems to be a howling wind

Carter is absolutely atrocious on the weekends now with pace of play. We were the 4th group out a few Saturdays ago and managed to finish up in four hours & 15 minutes. That's a record for me out there on a weekend.
Played Oak Harbor last weekend. It was in OK shape. Greens weren't bad but had plenty of sand on them and bumpy

I wonder if that has something to do with the switch of 9s? No idea, I’m not playing there again until June. It will still start par 4, 4, 3, then 5 like the original front.

It was the same way last summer before they flipped the nines. The new management is overbooking the course. We had our golf league tournament scheduled out there last June and they double booked the course. So our group started on #9 (new #1) at 9AM right in the middle of the morning golfers making the turn.
Several groups skipped the hole and jumped ahead of us. We ended up getting separated from our group and didn't finish until almost 4PM. If it wasn't a league event where I needed a recorded score for our club championship, I would've just walked off. It was absolutely ridiculous

Damn dude, that’s bad news. I’ll have to be careful and pick my spots to play. Thanks for the info.

Oak knoll. Hahahahahahah One of worst courses in America. And they charge an arm and a leg. Course is horrible
It’s not that bad but they do charge waaaay too much. It’s just such a bland course and the blind par 3 is dumb. If I ever go that direction to play it’s Carter or Cam2 although pace of play at Carter is an issue as of late. Carter is easily the nicest and Cam2 is easily the best deal and a unique course. Oak Knoll thinks they are Carter when they are actually a vanilla Cam2.

Oak Knoll is a joke. They haven’t had good greens in over 18 months. And they have the nerve to raise the entry of the Bradley.
Oak Harbor and Cam2 FTW

Every bit of this. I don’t know you JW6, but I like you

I’ll say this about Knoll...when we went, every green was basically 90% sand. I refuse to believe that’s how it always is. Must have caught it during some maintenance
I grew up playing the course and enjoy it. That being said, they really fricked up the winter seed on the greens. It didn’t take. Greens are as bad as I have ever seen them currently.
Will not play there again until we get a good month of warm weather.

The blind par 3 is trash. But I honestly had fun when I went out there. Nothing special. But fun course. Feel like it should be 25/30 bucks with cart. But the greens are so dogshit it should be free to play right now

It used to be around that. Then they thought they were on par with Carter.
