Reason to go to a good fitter - Driver Edition

Been playing golf "seriously" for about 3 years now. Would play a few times a year for several years, but always shot 100-105.
Got fitted for irons 2 years ago and got my scores down to the mid to low 90's but my drive was inconsistent and short for my swing speed. Plus my home course punishes you big time for missing the fairway so i was losing an easy 3-5 strokes per round to punch outs.
Finally made it out to get fitted for my driver and with a couple of small tweaks to my stance (further away from the ball and dip my back shoulder a bit to elevate the ball) and upgrading my 5 year old aero burner, I added ~20-25 mph ball speed and dropped my backspin from 3500-4500 to 2500. Along with dramatically increasing consistency in ball flight.
We'll see how well this transitions to the course, I'm sure i'll need a few weeks with it to be consistent but it was an amazing experience. Similar to when I got fitted for my irons.
