Just my luck. Played my first round in awhile last week at northwood in blanchard. Went through my third back back surgery and hoping to ease back into playing.

Don't even consider walking. We hosted a usga am qualifier last month and Tony Romo had to quit 25 holes in because the walk was too much for his back. The course has a ton of elevation and forced carries. Don’t expect to shoot great scores your first time.

Its a beautiful track. Has 5 different sets of tees so should have something for everyone.

It's a beautiful course. It's about a 2 hour drive for me but well worth it when I can make it over there.

My advice is to play the gold tees.

It was good. The elevation just walking to tee boxes and greens was a little rough by the end of the round but im not far removed from back surgery. Managed an 84 from white tees. Putting was terrible. Lots of break on those greens. LOTS of three putts. Did manage a 39 on back so that made me feel better. We all struggled reading greens. Course was really good, people very friendly.
