It’s a decent course. Usually in good shape. A few quirky holes, but as someone else said…the pace out there was always horrific. Haven’t played there in a couple of years so maybe they fixed that as it was a pretty big, well known problem.

The pace of play is plaguing Austin area courses. Avery Ranch is now a good 6 hour round and also $120 green fee. Just 5 short years ago it was a 4 hours round and $60.

I don’t play golf much in Austin anymore. Maybe once every couple of months. They had some pretty decent, well kept muni courses but got overcrowded during Covid really fast. Now they allow 5somes, no Marshall, no water, and you need to have an entire day.
Would quit playing golf if I lived there full time.

Center point for 3 high school buddies now living in Texas. Was shooting for Legacy in Georgetown but couldn’t get on.
