Glad to hear! It’s my favorite layout in South LA with the exception of The Bluffs.

Good to hear this. We need a decent golf course on the west side. Fun course with some difficult holes to start the back 9.

Bunkers are still like a beach.

Is this supposed to be a bad thing? I would kill for fluffy sand at my home course.

Fluffy sand isn’t the bad piece. Just a couple things. Players/members aren’t raking after they hit from em. And sand just hasn’t firmed up enough. Just needs time.

I think a lot of high end courses are using crushed quartz, which gives a much more granular feel and is more consistent.

I hate playing out of super fine sand.

Super fine sand is only an issue when it hasn't settled. The main reason being footing. Once it settles and you can get a steady stance, its better to play out of green side bunkers with fine sand.

I just walked a late 9 holes and the course looked really really good!! I played last Saturday too and it’s 5x better today. Greens are much faster and are very close to where they can cut them down enough for speed. They rolled much faster today.

Go check it out!

Played this weekend and pleasantly surprised how quickly they got their greens back to normal conditions, just a tad slow. Early May was last time I played and they were worse then Webbs that day.

Just wish the fairway bunkers weren't playing like dropping a ball in the sand at the beach in Destin.

I remember playing a year ago when it just opened back up with weeds in the fairway, 0 sand (like literally none) in bunkers, and rough very thick to where you couldn’t find your ball.

A bunch of great progress made, and a great course that offers a great challenge. Remember just before it closed complaining of green side traps not having enough sand. That problem is fixed!
