The Pines at North Park Weeknight Tournaments

This is the old Denham Springs Country Club. They are doing a tournament every night at 5:30. I doubt they got a ton of play in the late afternoons on weekdays, and now they have a somewhat full field every night for these tournaments. I played in one this week and it was packed. The course is nothing to write home about, but getting in a 9 hole weekday tournament after work was really a good break up to the monotony of the normal week. They also do a really good job of mixing up the holes and playing them from different tees and making up tees. Playing par 4s and 5s as par 3s, etc.
I'm not sure why more courses don't do this. Seems like a great way to generate some additional rounds during down times.
