Wrist TFC injuries

Anyone here ever dealt with a TFC injury? I had ulnar impaction on the ligaments and it wore a hole in one. I had surgery/scoping to clean things up. 8 weeks post op now and it still sucks. Can't put weight on it, and still going to occupational therapy. Just curious what others have experienced.

I tore my TFCC on my right hand. I did not go the surgical route because outcomes are not great. I wear a wrist widget whenever I train or have to do any type of manual labor. That pretty much keeps all my instability issues at bay, which has really helped decrease the pain over time.
Good luck man. As I said, outcomes with TFCC surgery usually aren't great, I hope yours is the exception.

My injury was a little different. I have ulnar impingement, because my ulna bone is a few mm too long (born that way). Before surgery I tried cortisone shots and months of occupational therapy. No relief. Post-op my wrist is definitely improved, but still not great. It still won't take much any weight in extension or flexion, so no push ups or pushing of any kind right now. I wear a wrist widget as well, now that I'm out of my larger brace.
My next option is to have my ulna shortened via a second surgery. That should relieve the impingement, but it's a bit of a brutal procedure with a long recovery. Getting old sucks!
