Kubota Lowboy Diesel Generators

I'm looking at the 11 KW Generator for the Barndominium. Does anyone have experience with these generators? I'm looking at Diesel because I don't have natural gas or a propane tank setup but at the place I do keep a fair amount of diesel.
I'd be feeding into a manual transfer switch.
Possible concerns: It's not an inverter type so my variable speed Bosch heat pump might not like the supply feed.

Do you own a tractor? You can get a PTO driven generator much cheaper and more power.

Variable speed stuff generally doesn't care about dirty power.
That said, it's a kubota diesel generator. I'm sure it probably makes excellent power.

Yes, I was really trying for a dedicated gen set as I put plenty of stationary hours on the deere with a PTO irrigation pump in the summers. and didn't want to have to mess with hookup during rainy or freezing arse cold.

My company has one we rent offshore. Have had zero issues with it, and it's put through the ringer. 2670 hours currently.

Thanks, that's good to hear. I try to be one and done on stuff when I can.
I've been considering panels, batteries and inverter, but with associated components etc that's a pretty pricey option and that I'd probably never buy the difference in diesel over my remaining life.
