St. Aug help

This grass looks to be taking over our St. Aug. Ideas on what it is and how to remedy?
1st picture is the longer skinny grass growing through the st. Aug.
2nd picture is cut down but has taken over that patch entirely.

Congrats on the dallisgrass. pull it with a weed puller, or spot spray round up.

You could use Celsius WG and it wouldn't kill your St. Aug

Take a close up picture after pulling some. Dallisgrass wouldn't be described as skinny. Its leaf blade is wider than St Aug. It looks like unmowed bermuda in the first picture.

That first picture looks like nutsedge but then again it looks like your camera is from 2004.

Agreed that looks like nutsedge. I have a shite load of it in my yard that I need to hit with Celsius. Get the picturethis app to identify.
