Lab also has the big OL committed to LSU. Granted he's got TWO years before signing, but he's going to be atleast a 4 maybe 5 star guy. I'm sure Marcus has a relationship with Saban, but the objective view doesn't reveal he's steering players to Saban.
The reality is that LSU will have a good class with a coaching change, in the top 10. Possibly a GREAT class in the top 5. That's unheard of. Yeah it sucks to lose a good instate player or two to the team we are chasing, but given what O and his staff did recruiting in a short period of time, I think 2018 could be a SICK class. If LSU struggles down the stretch next recruiting cycle, then we should worry.

Sounds like an opinion that has been drawn from other opinions on this board. I've seen nothing reported that has lead me to draw that conclusion, if anything he has been pro LSU and lets the kids make the decisions on their own.

Same thing with Fournette's coach. He was a bama plug and was pushing Fournette to Alabama

The real insiders feel good about Mathis. That's all I know.
Maybe I'm wrong, but he seems to be trying kinda hard to make it look like it's the bad guys and not saying much about the good guys. Has a marquise hill feel to it. God rest his soul.
