I don't think this is necessarily true. I highly doubt McFarland comes here but I think Hicks has the speed and body to play on the outside. I might be completely wrong as I have not seen any video or heard anything from sonny or shea, but he has been quoted as saying he can play all positions and a 4.9 is pretty impressive at 6 foot 6. What is alem's 40?

JMac has a spot saved, Scouts JUCO guy has Hicks as the top DE/DT combo player in the country

this guy is a zero star on rivals. this is just the continued decline of the program

I don't know if it mean McFarland isn't coming. It says more about RJF to.

whatever little chance Sentimore had at an offer just went away when Hicks pulled the trigger IMO

It's not that I think McFarland lost his spot, but that the coaches may not feel very confident about McFarland. Of course seeing that he's 6'6" has me thinking they prefer him at DE.

We're still in it for MacFarland. Scarborough says Jamarkus was caught using 'we' when talking about LSU.

Tyson Jackson's height is one of his most powerful atributes, it will be nice to have another guy real tall with long arms batting those balls down at the line

We still have room for another DT and another DE IMO. This kid will be 2 years in front of those guys. So its a different scenario completely than taking a HS commit.

As for RJF, he may still leave but I think his draft stock has seriously slid. He would really benefit from staying one more year. At the beginning of the season I thought he would leave, but i have doubts about that now.

Did anyone know we were looking for a Juco DE/DT?

I have never heard anything on this kid until now?

Sounds like a nice pick up

I am trying to remember who it was? We had another JUCO DT guy that went high in the draft not long ago?

Has a pretty big sky of potential and seeing as he can play any position on the d-line, its a definite need. This is a pretty good pickup, I think Rivals will eventually have him shooting up.

I just wonder how the numbers are going to roll around for this class and if a few players are going to transfer to open ships up for us.
