Yeah no one gets developed at LSU. Who the hell are in these guys ears? LSU has the most players in the NFL. Good lord kids can be dumb.

We beat them in 2010 and '11. At that point Les actually held a 3-2 lead over Saban head-to-head. Amazing what 1/9 did in the direction of the two programs.

In some recruits minds they see one program committed to competing for titles and the other not making a good faith effort to do so. With Aranda and Canada the playing field in more level than it's been since '07.

yeah, but Alabama's players routinely get drafted high in the NFL draft and their LB'ers are playing better in the NFL than LSU's. That's about the only thing Alabama can hang a hat on right now as for as being better than LSU at. All the other players at other positions that they have sent to the NFL have sucked arse while LSU players across the board have dominated.

Miles has just gotten outcoached by Saban since Saban has been there, but hopefully that's fixing to change now with this new staff. I'm excited about them, excellent young coordinators on both sides of the ball. But a kid like Allen is probably looking at the first part of what I said about their LB'ers and wants to see himself in that tradition of an Alabama LB going high in the draft and then his boy Moses is gonna be there also. A win win for him it would seem.

LSU's got some LBers balling out in the league too now bro. If a kid has game he will make it to the NFL just as easy at LSU than at Bama, and that's at ANY position including LBer. Even more so now that we have Aranda as our LBer coach and DC

These kids just wanna be handed a ring while they're at it. Period

LSU LB's in the NFL are out performing Bama LB's, and it isn't even close. What is he talking about getting developed.

Tosh is not even on the same page or in the same book as our LB coach.

Allen must not have been watching our LBs dominate all year.

We have had multiple LBs drafted in the 2nd round the past few drafts

It makes no sense for Allen to go sit in that crappy of a town. He will cost himself money not getting game time experience and waiting an extra year to play and get drafted.

If that is really true, do we even want a kid with that kind of thought process?

I mean, do people remember when we used to have players that had no problem coming here and develop?

LSU's three best producing LB's so far this season

Kwon Alexander: STATS (2016) 97 TACKLES, 3 SACKS, 1 INT
Deion Jones: STATS (2016) 89 TACKLES, 0 SACKS, 3 INT, 1 FF
Kevin Minter: STATS (2016) 73 TACKLES, 3.5 SACKS

Bama's three best producing LB's so far this season

Mark Barron: STATS (2016) 109 TACKLES, 1 SACK, 2 INT
CJ Mosley: STATS (2016) 72 TACKLES, 0 SACKS, 3 INT, 1 FF
Dont'a Hightower: STATS (2016) 64 TACKLES, 5 SACKS, 0 INT, 1 FF

So the statement about bama LB's being so much better in the NFL isn't accurate, at least not right now. While most of their LB's have been drafted higher, all of LSU's besides Louis were drafted in the first 4 rounds with Minter and Jones going in the 2nd and Mingo in the 1st (6th overall.) It appears LSU's 2nd-4th rounders are currently outperforming Bama's 1st rounders. Beckwith and Riley will both be drafted high as well. Enjoy being developed in Tuscaloosa Chris.

Yeah the Bama linebackers in the NFL argument just doesn't have any merit anymore. Actually, you could certainly argue that you get better development from LSU. Bama has 5 star linebackers coming out the ears. LSU is working with 3 and 4 star linebackers and ours our performing better in the NFL.

throw in the fact that one of the premier LB gurus (aranda) in the country is now on staff and that past narrative becomes even more obsolete
