What’s to enlighten? He did not move across the country to play with Arch. He (AJ) started his freshman year at McMain when Arch was in the 8th grade. He had moved from Georgia to live with his mom in Nola. Once at McMain, he transferred to Newman and sat out his Sophomore year.
He did not move across the country to play with Arch.
His move to NOLA had nothing to do with Arch.

Sad that this thread turned out to be more about Manning than it did Johnson.
Johnson is a big kid and looks like he has solid hands. Something LSU needs desperately.

AJ is a dog...he will fit in nicely under Coach O. Him and Bordelon are great friends and will be great additions to the Tiger Family.
Just tired of misinformation being presented.

Thanks FT, I have a feeling we know each other

No one is interested in his move from Georgia to New Orleans. Now please explain his move from a shite Nola public school to the most expensive private school in the state...

Not really. He moved to nola to live with his mom

McMain is not a shite public school.

He sat out a year and joined the team just like all the star HS do at other schools. Private schools are allowed to give financial assistance and or grants and scholarships to students that meet their standards.

If you think people regularly transfer from mcmain to Newman than you are clearly not from New Orleans. Idk what else to tell you.

No one is saying that does or doesn’t happen
The dude moved to nola to be with his mom. He enrolled at McMain and played football as a freshman.
Like all the nola area schools do, they recruit...DLS and JC are the most guilty.
AJ got noticed and Newman brought him in. By the time he moved to nola it was too late for him to get into any other school, including Newman.
But to say he moved across the country to live with the Manning’s is just absurd and false.

Nobody ever said that. Reading comprehension is clearly not your strong suit. How about this scenario, AJ moves to Nola, his mom says ok time to go enroll you at mcmain, He goes to school at mcmain, he somehow crosses paths with the manning’s, (could’ve been at a football camp, or mutual friends, or at the fricking grocery store, who cares how) cooper says alright this is a good kid. I’d like to help him out. Cooper picks up his cell phone and arranges for AJ to be enrolled at Newman where the rest is history.
Now I’m just speculating bc I have no idea what happened or how it happened. But that scenario is much more plausible then some kid randomly transferring from mcmain to Newman. Because that just simply doesn’t happen.

Yes people have. In this very thread. Maybe you should stop being a dumb fleet boat captain and read the thread.

I don’t need to read your scenario. I know the story.
