Not denying that.

Don't bring the "we already got better bull shite" here.
Why not? Its the truth.

We wanted him, still want him, and are going to be on him hard from here on
Also true.

IMO I wouldn't Want to play wr for LSU - no playing time for 2 years minimum & a shady offense

coming in this year. Speed and height all in one
That's what I was saying. Dude is complaining about instate guys leaving, but when they do, LSU just lands out of state guys that are just as good or better.
Principle? Sure. If they commit out of state, LSU wasn't their best interest anyway. Let them go.

It's the principle of the matter
Sylve isn't the top WR in the state.
I didn't say he was. I said he was "a top receiver." There is a difference.

Also, Sylve would be nothing more than a slot receiver his whole time at LSU with Landry here. You couldn't put them both on the outside as you lose a whole lot of height
You could argue that outside of a solid QB, this offense has missed a dependable slot WR as much as anything. People always undervalue the ability of someone to go across the middle, make the tough catches and stretch the defense horizontally.

This is becoming a trend. I want it to stop. frick this shite. Let's keep our top talent here.
Sooooo, you have a problem with the out of state kids?
I'm juts not following/agreeing with you. If the kid wants to go out of state. Let him. There are WR's that are just as good that LSU would probably land.
Lose one, replace him. I just don't get your beef.

BS is faster than any of those three

Well we've already got our slot receiver for 3 more years.

That would be a pretty poor argument considering our oline.

I was never enamored with Sylve either. Just looks like a little fast guy to me. Those guys are always so boom or bust.
Doesn't he have an injury right now? Wonder how he'll recover...

How can you make this assumption?

shady offense
Lets not forget that last year was an anomaly. LSU has had some very good offenses over the past couple years.

wow this suck bad..Wanted him bad..Thought he was a lock

seals the deal for Beckham at WR. i'll take that.

I agree. We're probably telling him he can come in and take over for Maze and showed him highlights of AJ McCarron.
There is no doubt in my mind, we'll be sweating this one until NSD, though...

So let me get this straight....
Boone > Boone + Reed???
If you really think that, I don't know what to say to you. It didn't have to be a trade. We should have gotten them both.
I'm just glad we nabbed Fobbs, Wright, and Williams.
Let's not pretend that losing Trovon Reed didn't hurt.

...and Kenny Bell won't see the field and Benton is 37 by now.
I don't understand the issue here.
fwiw, I don't think Kenny Bell will finish his career at Alabama. He'll transfer back somewhere to La and play at a I-AA school. Never thought he was a big loss.

Quit spinning my words, man. I have nothing against OOS kids. I just want our top talent to stay in state.
Why the frick are you attacking me for promoting this very commonly held view? I am right.

I know it's a long way until Signing Day, but this is the 2nd highly-touted slot receiver to commit to an out-of-state school in as many years. Was it a case of not recruiting him as aggressively since we already had Jarvis Landry's verbal? Or did UA just offer him more of an opportunity and steal one from us?

every team wants to keep the best at home first, Sylve is one of the best in LA. No one's saying anything ab OOS kids
