Kids are too dumb to realize they make Saban and Bama.

that's not the best way to talk about kids, really. also, I'd bet that a large number of the kids that "make saban and bama" are not from LA. Julio jones, McCarron, Richardson, ingram. they'd probably say those guys laid their foundation just like we'd say LA guys are our foundation.

I swear we need to stop making them into something they aren't.

You can love LSU but come play for me and win and go to NFL

And LSU can say "hey look, we have more guys in the NFL than any other school in the country. Our back ups even get drafted and make a roster."

The kid said he'd rather sit the bench at Bama than play for LSU a couple weeks ago. I kept up with this visit out of curiosity, but anyone thinking he isn't Bama bound is kidding themselves.

These local kids won't hop off of Saban's nuts until we start beating them on the field. He convinces them that the only way they'll ever make it to the pros is through him, and they're gullible enough to eat it up, even though LSU has more former players in the NFL than anyone. We will be fine at LB with or without Allen.

Then we win without him. Not coming. Nice of him to say he dreamed of playing here. The problem with that is he has an offer, so that "was" his dream meaning past tense.

The deciding factor for kids like Allen isn't the NFL. Dozens of schools can get him there.

Saban is selling them on winning multiple titles before going pro.

Trying to help his boy Ponamsky out.

At least the show is listenable now--DP would refuse to say anything critical of players or the program. It's obvious now that at some point in the off season, Orgeron saw the writing on the wall with Les and told Ponamsky that he wanted him on his staff if Les got the boot.

Yeah that pisses me off too. If it's your dream school why not commit? It's not like we've have consecutive losing seasons the last 3 years. LSU is right there in the thick of thugs every year. Even more so now that we may actually have a coordinator that can run an offense and develop a QB.

Apparently his dreams have changed. A true LSU fan would go to LSU. If they were not going to LSU, then they would select any school but bama, A&M, or ARK.

the guy reaffirmed his commitment on a Baton Rouge radio show and is still planning on visiting Bama this weekend. It's over, if you're expecting anything different then you're only setting yourself up for disappointment

you missed it. I'm saying tune in on signing day to see who we got and what they bring to the team instead of worrying about every mother fricker that wont

The good news here is that the staff took their shot, but they know he is gone too. Priorities will be focused on the guys still in play from here on out.
AND are forcing Gumps to defend. Good to see, instead of just conceding and making it easy on them.

Hard to compete with a school that would have a 5 star say this.
