and therein lies the rub...do we sign a 3rd rb in this class, when we've already filled the rb slots for this class? if so, then who get's left out? is it Bostic? Nixon? what about one of the WR's? what about the DT from Destrehan?

I hate to lose any top prospect, but you can only take so many. It comes down to need. Not just need of the class, but need for the program. How many RB did we take last year? Our program will need developed RB whenever the current veterans leave. Take into consideration injury. We need backups we need depth. Its crazy to think that Michael, Lacy, Richardson, Ford or Pratt would be considered a backup. But thats a great problem to have and is a role one of them may have to take. I mean dont you find it crazy that Williams, Scott, and Murphy were BACKUPS last year. LMFAO. Thats insane right. Also, there is always next year to pick up on that positional prospect we missed out on, whether that be RB, LB, or whatever. At this point the coaches have 2 solid RB and picking up a 3rd is what they WANT but dont necessarily have to have. So they can gamble on the 3rd RB slot. Try to get the best player you can and if you miss on all of them its not really gonna hurt too bad.

Kids, this is why you should stay away from crack cocaine!

First, we've been short on RBs the last two classes. We have a chance to sign 3 top prospects this time around - LET'S DO IT!

Second, chances of landing either Richardson or Lacy at LSU are slim. Richardson is playing the Tim Tebow game (This week "I love XXX" - fill in the "XXX" with your school name). Lacy just isn't interested and even with his extra work in the classroom, one wonders if we need another grayshirt.

Third, Christine Michael already has made it clear.. LSU or A&M. He loves us. He's been awesome at the camps this summer.

Imagine Michael, Ford, and Pratt as our RB combination, and you being our opponent's defense. You plug up the middle for Pratt, and in comes Michael and he runs around you. Then you throw in Ford and he cuts and jitters through you. IMO, this would be the best RB group LSU has ever had!
