If that's the case, that whole board needs to go down. I stay away from that board as much as possible

I think the point was you don't really know how good any of these prospects are until they step on the field in college. There have been plenty of good performances at the Army game that result in subpar careers. I'm not saying CJ won't be good. I am saying it would be irresponsible to promise a starting position before you ever see him on the field with college level players. This irresponsibility results in 7 loss seasons.

I have no idea. I read it on another site, and that was the extent of his post. By the way, he must be reading, because I went and checked that site again, and he's corrected himself to say COOPER and Haley.

Yea, the Brick and Haley was confusing.

Kind of like saying Les and Miles went to see a recruit.

I wonder if they are mad about him posting too much "inside info" on this site.

Of course, to Tigerbot Hotlanta, NO ONE on here has privaleged info.

I'm sure someone's already responded to this but here goes: Baker, Minter, Barrow and Maclin just to name a few. Very doubtful That Johnson would start as a true freshman. Good enough to see the field? Yes, judging from his film. Better than the veterans listed above, right now? No way.

I was watching this video " a Tenn recruiting video" LINK and at 1:30 into it he is talking about Tenn and liking their scheme "blitzing alot". After he said that I believe he is a lock for LSU. If he has watched any LSU film which he will when he visits then its a done deal.

Rivals got Joe Robinson recruiting him?

Anyway, it sounds like the kid loves to hunt and fish and Nutt got a big lake and woods were the players go to get away. I still don't see a confirmation on him canceling his LSU visit. Regardless this looks like Ole Miss all the way.

No one is sure about CJ's visit this weekend. My thoughts are that he has given a Silent Commitment to Ole Miss and the OM coaches are trying to keep him out of BR and CJ is not sure whether he should make the trip or not.

Its definitely not like OM would pull his offer

Thats IMHO

I call BS on this you are thinking the Les Miles way. If a true freshman has a noise for the ball you start him right away!See patrick peterson for this. Sad to say i don't think currently we have any people at LB that have a noise for the ball maybe CJ does but we may never know until CJ plays a game for ole miss

Considering Les Miles is the coach it would make sense to "think the Les Miles way" when talking about whether a freshman will start immediately at LSU on and LSU messageboard.

Nutt did a good job making CJ feel welcomed this weekend. However many forget nutt had quit recruiting CJ altogether till he decommitted from state. LSU never stopped. That alone could be what keeps his visit in tact, but right now its too early to call.

The Ole Miss Rivals site writes that Philadelphia linebacker C.J. Johnson did not commit but also said he was unsure if he'd take next week's scheduled visit to LSU.

That sounds like he was throwing Ole Miss a bone for not committing.

That's true and could give us the edge. I think we get him.
